a few of you may have noticed i'm not standing here holding two jet engines in my arms, well that's because the motors were delayed due to the chinese new year, now i have been told the motors will be delayed and additional 3 weeks.
as you can imagine i am not to happy about this as i now have allot of events coming up that i need to pay for then if the timing is right i will strait away have to pay for the 10% GST on these motors to get them out of customs, hmmmm i am not happy but i can fill time with finishing getting the board ready and rolling.

on a separate note i have been speaking with a company that maybe interested with helping build the fairing or housing, what ever you want to call it, so if this comes through it will be one kick ass looking jet luge.

i have been in try save money mode for a little while now which is why i haven't been updating as often as i would like, i have also been selling some of my stuff to afford to get to races and still get the motors out of customs when they arrive, as you can imagine the motors are taking priority when it comes to any choice i make at the moment.

stay tuned for more news as i get it, and thanks again for checking on and all the emails of support i really do appreciate the encouragement

Hi Harold

thank you for checking in mate, i hope i break the record also, the only thing that would hold me back from breaking the record is length of track which is why i have so much power.

the cost of one motor will run you between 16 to 18000 US dollars depending on what you have done to it and what extras you get with it, mine cost me 18 with the afterburners, one motor should be able to push the weight of me and and the board to over 300kph.

Hi Daz, wow thats expensive but worth every dollar if it can push u to 300kph. Id like to watch the attempt. Iv done 115kph on my butt board, I need to buy a street luge to go faster, I missed out biding for that set up u had on ebay, I found out about it too late. You would need a very clean ruway with a 10mm ground clearance. Will the luge flex at those super high speeds? Are u allowed to wear semi ridged aerodynamic clothing in the attempt?

Hi Harold
the price is why not allot of people are jet luging lately hehe, as for watching it i think allot of people want to do that so i am working on getting a venue so people may attend, sorry to hear ou missed out on the board mate, if it's any cancellation i actually make boards and have a few that i'm still finishing off, i am waiting till my engines arrive and will be finishing them with the jet luge if you don't mind waiting a little while, it's just more affordable to have them all powder coated together rather than individually, around $550 will get you a comp ready board, then you just need wheels and trucks, what area are you in?

Hi Daz,
I live on the edge of the Earth.... west coast of Tasmania, people down here still think the Earth is flat, that includes the cops and council. I go back to civilization (Melbourne)when it all gets to much. The riding is heaven here thou.
How much for an unpainted luge? I need to hit higher speeds quicker ........

I can get you a board with no padding and no paint for $460 this will be ready to roll you just need trucks and wheels to mount to it, you put your own padding on it, postage should be around 50 to $80 I can quote more accuratly with an address, email me for more mate.
