One thing that needed attention during the testing yesterday was a stable throttle control. First we had to work out the best position for the throttle. then it was a matter of working out where idle was compared to full throttle. Dave completely made the entire throttle control up from scratch, so as basic as it looks, there is a huge amount of man hours involved in it. Almost nothing on the board is store bought and has been built from the ground up. Yesterday, marked the first real test of the new jet luge. it has been a very very long time in the building. The test was very successful, specially compared to past tests. the board will require some more fine tuning, but that is why we do the tests. i can not go into to much detail as yet. but i promise good things are on the way. i leave you with the first peak of the board after it's first road test.
For those of you who periodically check the blog from time to time. thank you. For those of you who have stumbled upon it. Welcome.
It's been a really busy and long year for me, with very little to no down time. i have been very hard at work getting the jet luge going and i do have some big changes and probably an even bigger surprise on the way. i can't say or show to much yet. but i will leave you with a small picture of the main switch board for the jet luge. stay tune and i promise there will be some excitement on the way. |
