For those of you following everything, you would know i recently met up with an amazing couple over at Custom Carbon Components. You would also know they have decided to build me a better board. faster sleeker lighter. There will be huge major changes to the setup of the board and a few minor changes. i will do my best to go over a couple in the photos below. The first major change is going to be the overall length the last board measured in at 2380mm the new board measures in at 2998mm that's almost 3 meters. The width of the board is now 59.5mm just under the maximum allowance of 60cm for the Guinness world record. One of the more minor changes is the wheels will still be set in the board in the same way. the only difference, i will be going back to the original three truck setup. that's three sets of wheels front and back. The back end of the board will loosely follow the original design but with a few small changes. you will see when the board gets closer to completion what these are but it does entail formula one technology. The board overall will be taking on a radical new look. it will be fitted and shaped perfectly to my body and then the aero built up around me. i am not allowed to be covered by any part of the board as per the Guinness rule book so we must make the air pass me as efficient as possible. We then have to build up the foam so we have something to shape. this is the current shape of the board. we know. it's not that aero as of yet but it will be. For all the latest pictures head over to the new Jet Luge Mk2 page. and if you want to stay up to date with all the latest news straight from the source head over to Custom Carbon Components facebook page and like them. plenty of surprises are on the way and you can only catch them there first.
