tick tick tick tick, the time is counting down and i'm pushing hard to get things ready and in place for when the motors arrive so i can have them mounted and tested ASAP, problem is i am limited by what i can do with and with out the motors, i can only build so far till i need the motors to work out spacing and lay out of the petrol tank and other components, but i must admit i think i love the building just as much as i will love the riding, spending time with great mates and working out what exactly is needed right down to a micron of a degree and all done over a beer, then waking up the next day and having to redo it all cause we did it all over a beer haha, what i do love is the great support i'm getting from friends like Phil Champion, who with everything he is helping me with is doing it with a busted leg that's STILL in recovery, this is no mean feet and i see the occasional grimace amongst the smiles, i truly can't thank him enough, the other is Josh over at All Aluminum Welding, who has welded and guided me through some of the most critical structural welding, bloody legend! if you got time have a look at some of their amazing work they do, in the mean time here's Josh pointing out how wrong i'm doing everything haha, thanks for the tips dude ;)

i still don't know if he closed his eye's when i hit the pedal or not

see what i mean still open and all done haha

guessing by his smile i either did a good job or he's a better teacher than he thought
see the rest of the photos in the gallery, next comes mounting the spine to the pan and getting all the holes and handles mounted, it's a hell of allot of work and it makes it harder now that i'm working, but i know with the help i have around me i'll.....NO.....We'll get it done and set this land speed record.

don't forget to click the like button guys and did you know you can comment on these blogs, i would love the feed back, i do love getting feed back and suggestions from you guys, so feel free to ask what ever you like and have your say on what the boards needs or should look like, you never know you may see your name on the board that breaks a land speed record, credit where credit is due.
